A 1985 family home renovated for a new generation — original structure intact, everything inside reorganised.
About this project
Most Model Town houses from the mid-1980s share the same DNA: thick load-bearing walls, terrazzo floors, tiny kitchens behind closed doors. The owners had grown up in this house and now wanted to raise their own children here — but on different terms. We kept every structural wall, restored the terrazzo, and rebuilt every interior surface and joinery system. The house feels new but knows where it came from.
